Building the Future: CRS Resource in 2026 - This is my first overview for our newsletter, so I’m really excited to be writing this in my new role as Chief Executive of CRS Resource. 2025 for me was a positive year, we have worked extremely hard in readiness for this year, and I believe we are more than match fit to absolutely smash our targets for the year.

The year has started strongly with many tender submissions being returned, these will see us venture overseas and into new sectors, so watch this space for further updates, we have also revamped our marketing avenues, with a brand new website that truly showcases CRS and the fantastic people that make it such a special business and great place to work.

With the launch of the new website, we also proudly present our new brochure which underpins our drive towards a Multi-Skilled – Multi-Sector business, so keep an eye on our socials to see the exciting opportunities and activities we have coming up during 2026. We’re proud to announce the official launch of our newly redesigned website, marking an exciting milestone for CRS.

Over the last few months, our team has been working hard behind the scenes to create a platform that more accurately reflects who we are today and where we’re heading. The updated website has been designed to enhance functionality and better showcase our values & capabilities. It features a modern design, clearer content and creates a smoother experience for all users.

A key feature of the new website is the extensive use of images that showcase both our office-based and site-based staff. These images highlight the people behind what we do and provides a view of our teams working together across different environments. End of Year Lightfoot Stats

We’ve just wrapped up our annual fleet performance review, and the results are incredible. While the data is impressive, these milestones were only possible because of the people behind the wheel and the right technology in the cab.

A massive thank you goes out to our entire driving team. Your commitment to smoother, safer driving has fundamentally changed our fleet culture.

We also want to thank the team at Lightfoot for providing the real-time coaching that helps our drivers be the best they can be.

Promotion Alert!

We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Loat has been promoted to Finance Manager. Sarah oversees the financial operations within the business and deals with the day-to-day finance tasks whilst working alongside the Senior Management Team with the help of her team to support operational performance and long-term business objectives.

Sarah joined the business in 2023 as a Sales & Purchase Ledger Assistant and has been a great asset to the business since her very first day. She spent a lot of last year on maternity leave having welcomed her beautiful baby girl in January and returned to us not long before Christmas.

Sarah not only has fabulous account and finance experience but has also worked in the Rail & Construction industries for some time. We hope you will all join us on congratulating Sarah on her new role and wishing her the best of luck.

This month we celebrate Josh Clark as our Worker of the Month.

Josh predominantly supports one of our Octavius projects, where he continuously goes above and beyond to ensure high‑quality outcomes. His dedication, reliability, and proactive approach make him an invaluable part of the team. He consistently takes ownership of tasks, solves challenges with professionalism, and contributes significantly to the project’s success.

Beyond his core responsibilities, Josh regularly assists other clients with their requirements, often stepping in without hesitation. His strong technical knowledge, positive attitude, and willingness to help have made him highly sought after—many clients specifically request Josh due to the trust and confidence he has built through his exemplary work.

Josh embodies the values of our organisation through his integrity, expertise, and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. His contributions have a meaningful impact across multiple teams.
